This work is a practical response to my desire to understand nature on a deeper and more intuitive level, where I can be in the bush with less fear and hesitation and with a systemic, interconnected thought pattern.

Acute sensory awareness and animate thinking act as parameters that shape my experience when making these objects in the bush. By broadening my sensors I observe beyond my human-centered perspective and in creating stories I recognise the shared layers of existence in nature.

The objects articulate either the systems I notice, what role I play in that experience or they act as a space between myself and the environment without a clear identity.
